IS IT WELL WITH YOUR SOUL???

Everyone is waking up with new challenges every day. I love greeting a new day with five beautiful faces.I can truly say it is well with my soul. But I do think about those of you whose challenges are overwhelming this day and I want to encourage you that God is in control and Jesus really does care.
 I was thinking about the Shullamite woman she was given a son by God only to have him die. But when she went to the man of God she knew and trusted that God had a plan. She said, "it is well with my soul".
 God healed her son.
   Then my mind goes to Horatio Spafford he had five children and then none. God took his only son with an illness. His four daughters drowned at sea, results of a terrible ship wreck. His wife sent a message "Saved Alone" A month later while traveling over to meet his wife in England. He penned these words:

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say,
It is well, it is well with my soul.

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,

We are the Jared family.I will give you a quick run down from start to finish. David my husband is a civil engineer he attended Georgia Tech from 1989 to 1994 He then secured a job with Georgia Department of Transportation where he has worked for almost 18 years. He enjoys his job but Jesus Christ is his life and Love. He loves books and loves to spend time pouring over the scriptures.
 I am a stay at home mom of 5 beautiful children that I thought I would never have but Praise God for his abundant blessings on us. I love to sing no matter where i am and i like to do it loudly...ask my kids lol.
 Lydia Faith was our first , smallest baby and our most out going, she is 8 going on 18.
Luke Silas, was our first boy and has the biggest cheeks, he loves to play army stuff and keeps his room spotless.
Enter center stage: Lois Hope, our little cuddle bug and hyper HYPER youngest girl and my easiest to deliver. If you need a hug she will supply it.If you do not need a hug she will still supply it. :)
Levi Paul another little blessing. He wants to please his mom and, dad. He is Mr manners, LOVES hot wheels, fast "super fast" shoes. Monster trucks and anything else with wheels.
 Lancelot Andrews is our youngest boy. One word describes him.... SWEET. he just learned to walk and is picking up on a lot of words lately. in the above photo he was not yet here.

Children Should be Seen and Heard

We live in a day and age when our little ones are thought of as a nuisance.
 I believe in good manners as much as the next person. Just don't be caught up so with  the "not be heard" part of that saying.  
We just need to see more children out and, about with their parents. When I see you out there with your little ones struggling along, I am in awe and, you inspire me.
      In a society where on Sunday we put them in Junior church, and nursery, Monday off to school or the local daycare, so we don't have to be bothered...I challenge you, take them with you every chance you get. let those children both be seen and heard...

Meeting New People

Being the mom of 5 children is not easy and, I  have to make time for my own needs (no brag just fact) So writing hasn't been even remotely making the list. 
  Our family enjoys meeting new people. Our oldest children are very out going. They love playing at the park. That tends to be where we meet people, the easiest.
  We recently met a wonderful family that has been a tremendous blessing to us. They are the D----s and we just love spending time with them. They have 5 children also and, they are all very talented. I just want to say that its important to make time in our busy society to greet and try to meet new people. Yes i think its goofy we have more ways then ever to communicate, and yet neighbors do not know each other. People don't even greet each other or smile at each other. Just for the record
                         WE WANT TO MEET YOU!      LETS BE FRIENDS!
